Want to learn modern calligraphy and write your own unique home décor print? Join Nash from Crafty Nib for 2.5 hours of modern calligraphy using a brush pen and learning blending techniques.

You will learn:

-which pen(s) to use

- how to hold the pen and set up space for comfort,

-the basic strokes that form letters,

-practise writing the alphabet,

-how to join letters to form words,

-practise writing phrases

- how to blend colours and create an gradient effect before moving onto your final project writing your very own text/quote for a wall art print/mini banner.

All materials are provided (workbook, brush pen, blank cards/mini banner) which you will take home to continue practising your new skill. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and it doesn't require neat handwriting or drawing skills.

Calligraphy is the perfect way to get yourself back into the present moment, away from mental chatter. Calligraphy requires a deep focus and slow movements to place the right amount of pressure to obtain the thick and thin strokes forming each letters.

If you need to cancel a workshop

We do not offer refunds however we are happy for you to transfer the ticket to someone else so that it can be used. Please advise us of any name changes in advance of the workshop.

If you contact us at least 7 days in advance of a workshop, then we can see if someone on the waiting list can attend in your place. In this instance we would offer you a full refund if someone on the waiting list takes your place.

Our right to cancel a workshop

On the very rare occasion that we need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, we will give you as much notice as possible.

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum attendance number has not been reached.

If we cancel the workshop you will be offered a full refund. Unfortunately we cannot accept liability for travel or other consequential costs.
