Join us for a beginner-friendly workshop where you will learn the essentials of modern calligraphy using a brush pen to create beautiful and unique hand-lettered wrapping paper and gift tags. The workshop is suitable for beginners and it doesn't require neat handwriting or drawing skills.
During the workshop you will learn how to set up your space / hold pen and paper for comfort, the basic strokes that form letters, practising writing the alphabet, joining letters to form words, practise writing festive words and phrases.
Using the technique you've learned, you will then add festive words and phrases to the provided wrapping papers and gift tags. You can use this technique for other celebrations and events too.
All material is provided and for you to keep to continue your practice at home. Your calligraphy kit includes workbook with practice sheets, templates and guidelines, 1 black brush pen, wrapping paper, gift tags, 1 Kraft paper bag with handles.
Tea/coffee and cake is also included in the ticket price.
