A factory lace pattern originally from the Kilmarnock Lace Mill, dating to the 1950s.

This pattern was created by Edwards & Richardson, Nottingham, designers and draughtsmen involved in the lace textile industry. The lace industry relied heavily on skilled draughtsmen to translate intricate patterns onto carding, which directed the Jacquard looms to create lace patterns.

Hand drawn and coloured, these patterns are a beautiful remnant of Scottish industrial history. They have all been used within an industrial setting and have some soot deposits on them and other wear and tear through years of use.

This pattern card is 80cm x 26cm. The hanger is not included.
