Large Japanese Kokeshi doll. Kokeshi are simple wooden Japanese dolls with no arms or legs that have been crafted for more than 150 years as a toy for children. They make interesting decorative objects. All unique, hand painted and signed underneath by the maker. 
Some wear and tear to the paintwork as expected with the age of the doll.
