Learn the traditional craft of leatherwork by making your own refillable pocket leather journal.

In this full day workshop you will learn how to hand-stitch leather using the traditional saddle stitch, through to how to nicely finish your edges giving your journal a quality finish. There will be a choice of leathers and thread colours for you to choose from. Leather, thread and journal insert will all be provided.

If you need glasses to see close up and/or for reading, please bring them with you as you’ll need them for the hand-stitching. All leatherwork tools will be provided.

Please bring a packed lunch. Tea, coffee and homemade cake are included.

If you need to cancel a workshop

We do not offer refunds however we are happy for you to transfer the ticket to someone else so that it can be used. Please advise us of any name changes in advance of the workshop.

If you contact us at least 7 days in advance of a workshop, then we can see if someone on the waiting list can attend in your place. In this instance we would offer you a full refund if someone on the waiting list takes your place.

Our right to cancel a workshop

On the very rare occasion that we need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, we will give you as much notice as possible.

We reserve the right to cancel a workshop if the minimum attendance number has not been reached.

If we cancel the workshop you will be offered a full refund. Unfortunately we cannot accept liability for travel or other consequential costs.
