An unframed, Winter landscape oil painting on canvas board. By known Scottish artist Torquil J Macleod (1933-2002) dated 1981. 
Born in Inverness, Macleod trained at Greys School of Art in Aberdeen and became Art Master at Strathallan School. He painted mainly landscapes and seascapes, particularly of Fife fishing villages.
